Mike Petrow is a fascinating being – an expert deeply educated in mythology, depth psychology, and religion. He is certified as both a spiritual director and a grief & trauma counselor. He is a graduate of the school of hard knocks, the Living School, and The Guild for Spiritual Guidance—for whom he now teaches.

Mike is a content specialist with the Center for Action and Contemplation, sometimes appearing on the Learning How to See Podcast with Brian McLaren, and is currently working with the CAC Core Faculty on the Living School.

He has previously worked as Pastor, a counselor with at risk youth, a chaplain in a tiny Times Square theater space and his secret “off the books” passion project is the Cinemartyr Podcast, discussing spiritual themes in movies. He is currently writing a book on the spiritual life according to Origen of Alexandria.

Pete welcomes to the Spa long time friend and prophetic voice for good, Drew Dusang. Drew functions in society as a Principle Engineer in the expanse of finance technology and big data collection. In this episode Pete and Drew discuss exploration, the Metaverse, and the possibility of a solar flare wiping out the internet.
